The Frei Family Legacy
Founded by Nick Frei in 1986, Dutchman's Market has been a beloved Santa Clara institution for nearly four decades. What started as a family convenience store quickly became famous for one thing: our pink sugar cookie.
The recipe, perfected by the Frei family, creates a cookie unlike any other—soft, sweet, and topped with our signature pink frosting. Word spread quickly, and soon visitors from across Utah were making special trips just for our cookies.
When the devastating 2012 Santa Clara flood struck our community, it was the outpouring of support from cookie lovers near and far that helped us rebuild. That experience strengthened our commitment to this community we call home.
